Waiver and informed consent

Sessions are taught at different levels from beginners to advanced. It is important that you have an awareness of the Pilates principles and work at a level that you feel comfortable and in control of your movement. It is also important for you to realise that you may stop the exercise at any point you feel unwell, have discomfort, or feel fatigue.

The Clinical Pilates program will begin with low level exercises and will be advanced in stages depending on your fitness level. Please ensure you join a Pilates class most suited to your needs. Your Pilates teacher will not hesitate to bring you out of a level if you show signs of fatigue or strain.

There does exist the possibility of certain dangers to exercise. Whilst every care will be taken to ensure safe delivery of exercise, it is impossible to predict the body’s exact response. Every effort will be made to minimise these risks by evaluating preliminary information you give relating to your health & fitness by completing our screening questionnaire. It is your responsibility to disclose to your Pilates teacher all relevant medical history to ensure best quality advice and specifically tailored exercises. Failure to disclose this information may adversely affect your health and ability to partake in the class. Your Pilates teacher accepts no responsibility for any loss or damages arising as a result.

I herby state that I have read and understood the information provided and fully understand that it is a release of liability. I have answered all of the questions relating to my health honestly. Whilst every effort is made to ensure full safety during the Pilates session, I am aware that there are small risks and I am partaking in the session voluntarily.
To the best of my knowledge I am in good physical health and have no disease, physical limitation or health concern that would limit my ability to partake in activities related either directly and/ or indirectly to restörr Health’s Clinical Pilates program.
